We are almost half way through November and it is time for another monthly highlight! November has been so far so good and I have so much to share for the next monthly highlight, but for now, focus on the tenth month of the year.
October was a busy month for me as a tutor as well as my friends who are adults and who are teaching because.. it's the month for dreadful PSLE and SA2!!!!!
Thankfully I managed to squeeze up some time for a trip to Hong Kong and some meet up here and there so I'm totally grateful for that. This October I had very little time to hangz or rather to say that fun time is really concentrated while being busy with work was taking a huge part this month.
The BFFL and I escaped to Hong Kong for a 6 days trip thanks to a promo deal we got in July! I will be blogging about that seperately but here's the complication video for the clip. I'm really glad that our friends (you) enjoyed the clip and said we were really cute ( yes i know that) <3
So watch it if you have not!
My FAC girls managed to meet up (we can never have full attention wai) and talked over waffles and ice cream at a newly opened cafe in Upper Thomson, Les Patisseries SG.
p/s : this bakery cafe was relocated from Toa Payoh to Upper Thomson.
Also took the opportunity to try out Reg's ELP7!
This new-old cafe stole our hearts with the gourmet ice cream. Every flavour we had was so good but my favourite is the lychee sorbet! It is sweet but it felt so light, how did all this people do it ??????
On the second weekend, my breast friends and I checked out the USS HNN6!
Even the pictures turned out quite halloween too.
We managed to clear 3 out of 5 haunted attractions and that's with us queuing up patiently. Kudos to the crowd management at USS although we had a family of more than 10 with no shame that cut our queue. A lesson learnt for me is : Never Ever Wear A Tube Romper ever again.
Ending off the last weekend of the week..
We went on a climb date and we checked out Tian Kee & Co located at the Dakota Crescent.
It's an interesting neighbourhood to be in and Tian Kee & Co is an interesting cafe experience.
It was once a space for a neighbourhood mama shop (convenience store) turned dining space, while there were much elements kept very old school.
Food is decent but the waiting time is way too long. We waited for our wings for more than an hour, which I felt was not acceptable. I felt so bad towards my friends cause they waited for me to get my instagramwhore shots but food took soooooooo longgggg that the food turnnnnn soooo colddddd.

The bakery cafe also had a promising looking brunch menu that I guess, I would be trying out soon. #gluttoncells101 #lifeofafatplepie

Checked out Bounce Inc, Singapore over the PSLE marking week with my cousins & the BFF. We had our expectations set too high and were disappointed. Ayden boy is happy and satisfied with what he had but preferred the one in Bangkok. I guess it was the restriction of space and we spent 15 mins waiting for the trampoline while they were cleaning during our slot. That's definitely a MEH for us.
