Hello October!
My September started off with a blast, the first week was my birthday so I spent alot of time off work with my loved ones, old-new friends and new friends, catching up and I truly appreciate it. It felt like it was Christmas. Technically it is, cause I just started my new year!
Hehe hand-drawn card by my girl!
Since I had nothing on my birthday itself, I thought why not just join the band for...
Post Metier X dinner with the band mates, got a lava cake from the band members, got a birthday ride my SJ, birthday Pasar Malam treat from ma girl Diyan. Simple but golddddd.
Followed by dinner at Greenwood Fish market, super good.
Also caught up with the #hypbun over dinner and desserts, when can we have full force wei.
And then to the F1 night race + Concert on saturday with Yubin, courtesy of Henglee haha,
The overall experience was great for a first-timer like me and surely would pay to go again (if I have the spare cash) We caught performances by Bastille, Pentonix and 2 hours of Queen. There are many other activities and surely something for everyone.Totally worth it!
Then then then the following weekend, I met up with some friends that I *ahem* knew from the internet haha years ago! Plans that day was quite a failure. First stop was craftholic cafe but by the time we got there, dine-in was sold out. Second stop was to the Uncle Ringo Carnival at Beauty World which we... didn't play any rides and we just went there for a photoshoot wtf. Personally I felt that the ticket prices were not worth it.
After that we had dinner at this 5 star chicken rice shop, but the food wasn't really five stars but we managed to get some aircon to cool down and chat about rubbish. Pictures look good because my camera is awesome.
Ended off the month with a mookata meal with ze family and a pint of beer. hehe

I spent the first week receiving well wishes from my students for both teachers' day and my birthday so I was really over the moon for that.Hehe hand-drawn card by my girl!

3 Sept :Jay Chou Concert
We were so near and I was so grateful!!
The sound system was really not up to standard but not to the extent that people could ask for refunds (?)But I enjoyed myself with the BFF so that's enough!
Week Two
Met up with Hazel after so long for a Korean meal!
We had dinner at Kimchi Suntec which was kind of a disappointment :( but its kay, always better meals next time.
Over that weekend, Fen and I checked-in our long awaited birthday staycation! (separate post on that)
