//hk091016 : Burgerman, Cat Cafe, Ding Ding Tram!

Soon enough, it was the last full day of our trip, and we went straight out for Burgerman for lunch, visited a Cat cafe at tea time and sat on the Ding Ding Tram in the evening. It was a pretty chill day and it was exactly what we needed.

Burgerman serves American styled burgers in their humble 20 seater shop, priced reasonably no doubt they have been voted for top 10 best burgers in Hong Kong!

Since it was the last day in town, we decided to go chill and also fulfill my promise - bringing the BFF to a Cat Cafe. I will NEVER step into one in Singapore cause I just don't like animals. However, in Hong Kong, it seems like cat cafe is quite a norm and popular among students and teenagers. I went to one in Causeway Bay the last time and I thought we could just check out one that was in our neighbourhood! Most cat cafes I know of are usually not on the ground floor, like this one, it is located on the second level and we had to call the owner to open the main gate before we could get in.

In the evening, we hopped in to the iconic Ding Ding trams in Hong Kong to have a different view of the city. I've been to Hong Kong multiple times but this is the first experience on the tram, it is quite easy to find, what I did was to check on the HK Tramway's website for the schedule and fare. You can either buy the tickets on the heritage tram iteself or on the website, we choose the former cause we are super free & easy and we are not every sure of our timings. We boarded the tram from the station nearer to Sheun Wan station.

It might seem boring to others, but I do think that it is a nice way to see the city and its skyscrapers.

Super excited while onboard!

With that said, I conclude our 2016 Hong Kong trip.
See you soon HK!

//hk051016 : Australian Dairy Company, PMQ, Symphony of lights

Good morning and a set of breakfast from Australian Dairy Company will be so good to start the week! Australian Dairy Company is one of my favourite places to eat and also a place famous for bad service. (oops, hahaha) We joined the queue as soon as we reached there, and I think we had a good wait of 45 mins?

I'm not complaining because the wait is worth it for the value for quality breakfast served!

I had to bring my BFF along to taste the best scrambled eggs rated by me, and asked the Chinese girls who shared a table with us to take a picture for us. Both of us had a late night ( Disneyland is so tiring) and a early morning which caused such a bloated face on me. T-T

Interesting incident : for some reason, when I am in town, I alwayyyyyys got mistaken as a Hong Kong-er that lived in another city. While the cafe is famous for bad service, we actually experience the world class, homely service from that and with that said, the treatment between us and the two sets of Chinese tourist that shared tables with us was heaven and hell. HAHAHA

The shop staff even ask us if we want our bread to be toasted, how our eggs to be done and choice of drink. Even bid us goodbye! Fuyoh. You have a not? I think instead of saying that their service is horrible, I suggest to be dam clear of what you wanna order before you step in, that would really help. Google the menu or something!

The whole day was just us strolling around Central and exploring places that I knew, but never been too. Of course, I wouldn't miss a shot outside the my favourite starbucks store!

tried out Tai Cheong Bakery...

Which was so-so only lei...

Of course this is just to show off the new kicks.

And checked out PMQ,

Caught the Symphony of lights at an undisturbed location hahaha, away from the crowd.

Wear matchy outfits (DUH) and have a really good view of the city!

Pretty much that is it for the day !

//hk041016 : Hong Kong Disneyland !

Away we go to the happiest place in the world!

Picture at hong kong disneyland entrance

Wednesday was a Disney Day for us, we started off the day at a traditional dimsum resturant near our hotel for breakfast. It was also my first time sharing table with strangers so it was quite an experience for us, except that... I think we ordered too much.

traditional typical hong kong breakfast, dim sum

We were very lucky that we could speak Cantonese plus the help of a kind old man (somemore he got scolded by the restaurant staff for helping us wts, I feel bad though.) Also felt bad that we couldn't finish our food. Fried mantous.. never go wrong.

We walked over to the nearest MTR station, Olympic Station and changed over to the Disney Resort Line and off we go to the magical land!

I pre-bought our disney tickets + meal vouchers over the Klook App the night before and that saved me quite a few bucks! Also, I only have to show the Disney staff what I have on the mobile app and viola! Unfortunately we will have to join the queue to collect the tickets and the thing about queuing there would drive one crazy. It still have it benefits as we were still ahead of the rest and we have meal vouchers ! hehe

This is my second visit to the Hong Kong Disneyland but my first time as a tourist. The first time was for Disney Music Days where I was *ahem* a performer. We queued for 40 mins(?) under the hot sun to take a picture with Mickey and Minnie at the iconic Main Street !

After that it was too hot to handle so we went shopping.
