Yup, it's Hong Kong again !
I hereby announce my favourite Starbucks outlet in the world (so far)
It definitely have to be this one that carries a tint of Hong Kong's famous retro cafe style Starbucks outlet.
The outlet is located at Duddell Street which is a really nice place for outfit shots and a little history class. Why? The street is famous for its four gas-powered street lamps and it has been declared as monuments of Hong Kong. There is this flight of stairs where you have to climb up to reach enjoy your cuppa coffee and it is going to be worth it. After your coffee break, do climb up the steps and take a stroll along there as you can see the gas-powered street lamps, which are still powered by the town gas.
Here's a look at the interior.
& Here's me on my previous year trip.
The outlet was opened in 2000, and within the premises was a showcase of vintage items I believe painstakingly collected by the outlet owner. And this makes it a really nice place for pictures, I took a overall video on instagram.
Sigh, I miss Hong Kong.
