LG Optimus G

Hi guys, I know it's been rather long since I've talked about tech-y stuff.

As the tittle suggest, it's time for the LG Optimus G, one of the phones that have its functions that amazed me. I was one of the lucky few to be invited for the media launch of the LG Optimus G over at Gardens By the Bay weeks ago.

What does the LG Optimus G has to offer?

- Unparalleled Quad-core 4G LTE Performance
-True to life viewing experience
- Ultimate battery capacity and efficiency
- Ultra high resolution and ultra slim camera
- Masterpiece of a design
-Greater user experiences with enhanced UX features for multi-tasking and fun

What does the new LG Optimus G have that captured my heart?

1. Battery Efficiency
Being a very normal consumer, battery life of a phone have became an important factor we look at before we make our purchase. Adopting the Asynchronous Symmetric Multiprocessing (aSMP) technology, it enables each core to power up and down independently, allowing usage of 40% less power, therefore longer battery life. Not only that, the phone does not heat up so much and thus a healthier battery life.

Fitted with the True HD IPS Plus display, the display uses 70% less power as compared to AMOLED displays, the UI on white background is eye-friendly and regardless of whatever color that is displayed, the phone uses the same amount of power consumption.

2. QSlide Function
I watch Youtube on my phone ALL the time, and it gets very irritating when text messages or when some one decided to call you in the middle of your video. Here's how the QSlide works. With the QSlide function, I am able to press the QSlide function on my LG Optimus G phone on the top right corner of the screen and increase the transparency and then reply my text message. This means doing two things at a time, literally !

3. The Kimchi Camera
I laughed when I was introduced about this, no the camera function don't smell or detect kimchi. The function is technically called Cheese Shutter but I think Kimchi cam sounds cuter. Anyway , the camera has a 13 MP high resolution camera by LG and cheese shutter takes photos with a voice activation command. For example :   " Smile" , " Kimchi" , "whiskey" (probably when you are drunk)

If you are planning to get a new phone, you might want put the LG Optimus G into consideration
Hope this is useful !

Loves,
A.
