//hk031016 : Getting Around MongKok

Shot before departure, Changi Airport

I surely am well familiar with Tshim Sha Tsui but not Mongkok. Upon touching down, our first stop was to check in Dorsett, Mongkok. Getting to the hotel was simple, take the airport express line to Kowloon Station and there were shuttle bus services around.

Tip: Take the Dorsett Shuttle bus to the Kowloon Station and take the K5 bus from the hotel, it can save you 20-30 mins traveling time!

Check-in was a breeze and glad that the helpful guest services agents are always there to help! We had to wait for a while before our room was ready so we left for brunch down the street!

Settled for some mains at 金沙餐厅, very typical Hong Kong cafe food.

Headed back and our room is ready!

The room is really compact but good enough for a good stay.
The amenities were great, we basically had what we need. The room also includes a handy phone, which helped us saved some money because we get to tether wifi from the phone and use it through out our trip, on top of it, it is FREE!

Shuttle bus services were also available to & fro from hotel to mongkok station and some other location which helped travelling in and out a little easier. Despite that, I don't really like that it is really quite a distance from ANY MTR stations :(

I'm glad both of us had great stay there throughout and we are off to explore the place!

We booked through expedia.com and it was less than SGD$550 per pax while we flew with Singapore Air and stayed at Dorsett.

Off to shopping ,bye!

Loves,
A.
