#migupPenang : Toh Soon Cafe (多春茶座)

 Sun and rise !

It was the first official day of the trip but while waiting for the other bloggers to meet us, we wanted local fare for breakfast so we went to search for this highly raved traditional toast that was kinda around the corner. We took a big round and accidentally explored the morning market. I strongly suggest to have a walk in the morning market, I love markets cause it tells a lot about the locals lifestyle. Here's some visuals to share.

Toh soon cafe.

Wendy told us about this traditional toast shop over supper the previous night and we thought, why not? Since none of it tried it before.Yup that's the place that Malaysian bloggers shared too. It's first look gave me the OMG that's a cafe in central Hong Kong kinda feeling and it really feels like it if you accompany your toast with some teh bing aka milk tea in local terms.

Breakfast spread! Okay just some traditional toast and steam bread, soft boiled eggs and a packet of nasi lemak. So excited to have our breakfast, being bloggers we waited for all the food to arrive so by the time we get to eat, we're famished !!!!!

Normal tasting toast but interesting making process wtf.

At Toh Soon Cafe, they use a special cooking equipment that looks like an oil tin(?) , using charcoal or wood to toast the bread/ steam the bread/ cook the eggs / the hot water/ everything all in one wtf!
