April Highlights | Ninja Cuts, Climb Central, Old Hen Kitchen, Ninja Bowl, Monument Lifestyle, CBSS Speech Day,Alley Bar, Maki-san, Mo’mor Izakaya,

April was a "people's month" for me, I had the chance to meet up with so many virtual friends, explore different new food joints in Singapore and talked to so many more people, which also means I spent a lot of my taste buds! There's a couple few places that I thought was quite worth the mention so here we go !

Ninja Cuts

I've seen so much posts on my instagram during the month about Ninja Cuts and I'm glad Cris bought me there to try out.
Elderflower drink, Ninja cuts

I'm already loving the petals of the elderflower in my drink. I think that was also the day I realised that I low-key liked elderflower so much.

Climb Central

Also recently, we found out the climbing at climb central has been made easy! There's no need for any certification to climb with them, which makes climbing alot easier now cause we can go with any one now!

Old Hen Kitchen

Old Hen Cafe/Kitchen has officially been the spot where Leon and I chill out to catch up or talk about work or gossips. And here's one of our afternoons at the Old Hen Kitchen! I also wanted to try out the new (not so new now) Matcha drink, which now tops over the usual chocolate that I drink!

Ninja Bowl

Then to Ninja Bowl with an old friend. Our ititnery was to just chill at Momement Lifestyle but end up too hungry, so I googled and found Ninja Bowl. I believed both ninja bowl and ninja cut was owned by the same people but personally I much prefer Ninja Bowl over the former for it's menu and portion. NB has a bigger portion in comparison and I liked the menu better, I love it so much I would like to have a bowl right now! Also, another stupid day where I forgot to charge my camera so pictures from the iPhone again. MEHHHHH.

CBSS Speech Day

Now to something more personal! As we all know, selected schools has been chosen for the merger in 2018 and unfortunately my secondary school is one of them. I had a hell lot of fun and enjoyed secondary school life the most out of my education life, even the blogging starts there wtf. I was privileged to be one of the few together my band seniors to be invited for the final speech day in CBSS. Super cool we were each given a bouquet of lettuce grown by the juniors.

Alley Bar

Alley Bar is one of Singapore's favourite bars to hang out and chill but it's only my first time there after so long.

Supply and Demand

lunch at Supply and Demand

Caught up with Jon over a work lunch and dined at Supply and Demand. It's been years for me to be back into the restaurant and also my first time at trying out the lunch menu. I think I wasn't very happy with the food the other day but nonetheless, it is still a good lunch time deal!

Maki-san

Yay to maki-san! This chain has been my to-go place when I'm lost in my food thoughts in town. Affordably priced, simple , healthy and delicious. Well Done.

Once Upon A Time Cafe #cafehoppingJB

The whole place is pink! Including the building wtf.
I was in awe when my cousin first told me that she had planned for us to visit a cafe that is printed in pink. Super intrigued by it, the two of us went for a little cafe hopping trip and have some sister talk time hehe. Very photoworthy cafe, food was below average, prices were considered steep for the quality but we loved the setup. Here's some pictures that we took ! <3

Address :

October Highlights | Hongkong trip ,Les Patisseries SG, USS Halloween, Tian Kee & Co

We are almost half way through November and it is time for another monthly highlight! November has been so far so good and I have so much to share for the next monthly highlight, but for now, focus on the tenth month of the year.

October was a busy month for me as a tutor as well as my friends who are adults and who are teaching because.. it's the month for dreadful PSLE and SA2!!!!!

Thankfully I managed to squeeze up some time for a trip to Hong Kong and some meet up here and there so I'm totally grateful for that. This October I had very little time to hangz or rather to say that fun time is really concentrated while being busy with work was taking a huge part this month.

The BFFL and I escaped to Hong Kong for a 6 days trip thanks to a promo deal we got in July! I will be blogging about that seperately but here's the complication video for the clip. I'm really glad that our friends (you) enjoyed the clip and said we were really cute ( yes i know that) <3

So watch it if you have not!

My FAC girls managed to meet up (we can never have full attention wai) and talked over waffles and ice cream at a newly opened cafe in Upper Thomson, Les Patisseries SG.
p/s : this bakery cafe was relocated from Toa Payoh to Upper Thomson.

Also took the opportunity to try out Reg's ELP7!

This new-old cafe stole our hearts with the gourmet ice cream. Every flavour we had was so good but my favourite is the lychee sorbet! It is sweet but it felt so light, how did all this people do it ??????

The bakery cafe also had a promising looking brunch menu that I guess, I would be trying out soon. #gluttoncells101 #lifeofafatplepie

Opening Hours : 11am - 12am

Checked out Bounce Inc, Singapore over the PSLE marking week with my cousins & the BFF. We had our expectations set too high and were disappointed. Ayden boy is happy and satisfied with what he had but preferred the one in Bangkok. I guess it was the restriction of space and we spent 15 mins waiting for the trampoline while they were cleaning during our slot. That's definitely  a MEH for us.

On the second weekend, my breast friends and I checked out the USS HNN6!
Even the pictures turned out quite halloween too.

We managed to clear 3 out of 5 haunted attractions and that's with us queuing up patiently. Kudos to the crowd management at USS although we had a family of more than 10 with no shame that cut our queue. A lesson learnt for me is : Never Ever Wear A Tube Romper ever again.

Ending off the last weekend of the week..
We went on a climb date and we checked out Tian Kee & Co located at the Dakota Crescent.
It's an interesting neighbourhood to be in and Tian Kee & Co is an interesting cafe experience.
It was once a space for a neighbourhood  mama shop (convenience store) turned dining space, while there were much elements kept very old school.
Food is decent but the waiting time is way too long. We waited for our wings for more than an hour, which I felt was not acceptable. I felt so bad towards my friends cause they waited for me to get my instagramwhore shots but food took soooooooo longgggg that the food turnnnnn soooo colddddd.
